IAIN Tulungagung, especially the Tadris Science Department Social Knowledge (IPS) Organizing web-based seminar activities with title “Training Disaster". This event was held on 14 July 2020 for approximately eight hours which is divided into two session. Start at 08.00-12.00 WIB in the first session and at 13.00-17.00 WIB in the second session. The event was broadcast via the Zoom video conferencing application and broadcast directly via YouTube, it was filled with people around 400 participants from various groups and institutions.
The first speech was delivered by the Chancellor of IAIN Tulungagung namely Prof. Dr. Maftukhin, M.Ag. The next speech was delivered by Dr. Hj. Binti Maunah, M. Pd. I as Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) IAIN Tulungagung. Carrier event on this webinar is Dr. Dwi Astuti Wahyu Nurhayati, S.S, M.Pd who is also the Head of the Tadris IPS Department.
The resource person in the first session was Prof. Dr. Nana Supriatna, M. Ed who is the Chair of the Indonesian Social Sciences Education Study Program Association (APRIPS) and all at once Lecturer at the Indonesian University of Education. The second resource person is from the Agency Regional Disaster Management (BPBD) East Java Province Satriyo Nurseno, SSTP as Head of Disaster Emergency Section. The first session was guided by Hendra Primary, M.Pd. as a Lecturer at IAIN Tulungagung
The second session starts on hit 13.00 WIB moderated by Nur Isroatul Khusna, M.Pd. which too is a lecturer at IAIN Tulungagung. The resource person in the second session was Dr. Hendro Wardhono, M.Si as Center Director Resilient Indonesia Training Research (PUSPITA). And the last speaker who providing material on the webinar that afternoon, namely from Pasipers Yonif Raider 500 Flying Lt. Inf Iskak Sukarman is also the Ministry of Religion's Latsar State Defense Coach.
This event was held in connection with the situation that is still disturbing today, namely the Covid-19 pandemic. The importance of vigilance and a healthy lifestyle that must be implemented now in order to maintain personal health is the main thing that must be done. Apart from that, this disaster training material is intended to foster awareness and social attitudes in dealing with the disaster that is currently occurring.. Covid-19 is a national disaster that we must face together. How to cultivate an empathetic attitude in responding to the current situation and strengthening each other to face it together. Other material was delivered by Lt. Inf Iskak about cultivating a sense of love for the homeland as a form of defending the country. The conclusion from the material he presented was "don't ask what the state has given you, but ask yourself what you have given to the country". This material also closed the series of webinars that had been taking place throughout the day.
