PDDI LIPI (Center for Scientific Data and Documentation Indonesian Institute of Sciences) organize seminar-based activities website with the title "Libraries and Librarians Facing the New Normal (Normalcy New)”. Representatives from the IAIN Tulungagung Library also had the opportunity to take part the webinar and knowledge sharing event. Activities taking place on date 20 Mei 2020 This starts at 08.30 S.d at 11.00 WIB.

The speakers at this event consisted of three people each of which conveys different material. The first resource person, namely Mr Hendro Subagyo, M.Eng as Acting Head of PDDI LIPI with the material "Change The Role of Libraries and Librarians in the Industrial Era 4.0". The second resource person, namely Mr. Priatna as Head of the Tempo Data and Analysis Center with the presentation of the material “Data Service Product Innovation Post Covid Pandemic”. Third speaker/resource person namely Mr Suherman, S. Sos., M.Si. who is a winning LIPI librarian CONSAL Outstanding Librarian Award which carries the material "Librarysaurus vs Corona : Librarians' Fight for Existence".

The speakers were given the opportunity to convey surrounding material 30 minutes for each person. Through Zoom Meeting application, the presenters present on the topic each. This event can also be watched via YouTube streaming with address listed on the brochure. After the delivery of the material is complete, opened question and answer session for participants who wish to ask questions.

This theme is carried in relation to the role of libraries in the industrial era 4.0 Nowadays, librarians are required to be able to innovate and be creative in creating products that are useful for users so that the existence of the library is not eroded by time. Remembering now Search engines have touched various levels of society, if librarian If you are not responsive and develop yourself then the library may experience technological disruption.

Conclusion from the webinar and knowledge sharing has been going on, namely that librarians must be able to create works which can be utilized by the community so that the existence of librarians remains recognized. Apart from that, the current paradigm of thinking focuses more on services by librarians, So as a librarian service provider you must be able provide convenience that is a solution to the community, especially users library.
