Region III Deliberation Event of the Islamic Higher Education Library Association (APPTIS) East Java Year 2023 Located at the UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Library on the date 21 June 2023. Coinciding with the Muswil event, held too Training of Trainers (To) on Online Information Leteracy Instruction. The event began at 08.00 WIB. Starting with the first speech delivered by the Head of the UIN Library, Maulana Malik Ibrahim, namely Mr. Mufid, S.Ag., SS. M. Hum. This was then continued with a second speech delivered by the Chairman of Central APPTIS, DR. Labiba Zein, M.LIS. After that, the final speech was given by the Chancellor of UIN, Maulana Malik Ibrahim, who was represented by the Head of LP2M.

Resource persons at activities Training of Trainers (To) on Online Information Leteracy Instruction it consists of two people. The first resource person was Mr. Bahrul Ulumi, S.Ag., SS., M.Hmm., from UIN Walisongo Semarang. He delivered material about "Empowering Librarian : Improving Information Literacy Skills in the Digital Era.” The second resource person is Prof. Yandra Arkeman from the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) with material "ChatGPT Applications in Various Fields and Ethics of Their Use".

This session ended with discussion and questions and answers. After activities Training on Trainer finished, continued with the East Java APPTIS Region III Deliberation agenda. Region III Deliberation activities began at 13.30 WIB begins with the submission of an accountability report by the East Java APPTIS administrators for the period 2019-2023 by the chairman of APPTIS East Java, Mr. Mufid, S.Ag.,SS.,M.Hum.. Followed by a plenary session chaired by Dr. Anisa Listiana., M.Ag. from IAIN Kudus. In this session, the election of the new chairman of APPTIS East Java for the year period was carried out 2023 s.d 2027. Elections using a voting/voting system, and elected with the most votes, namely Mr. Hairul Agust Cahyono, S.IPI., M.Hum from IAIN Madura. The event ended with a symbolic handover of management by Mrs. Labibah Zein as Chair of Central APPTIS to Mr. Hairul Agust Cahyono. Then it closed with a photo session with all APPTIS East Java members. (I@)
