On 20 – 22 November 2019 yesterday Muhammadiyah University Malang held an event “Seminar, Workshop and Regional Deliberation of FPPTI East Java 2019”. The event which took place in the Hall of the General Administration Bureau (BAU) was attended by all representatives of each agency incorporated in members of the East Java FPPTI. The event was opened by Dr.. H. Fauzan, M.Pd as Chancellor of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This series of activities lasted for 3 days according to the event rundown. Agenda for the first day of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) together with the Chancellors representing their respective agencies and the National Library of Indonesia, then continued with seminars and workshops. The second day's activities were Outbound and MUSDA, followed by a Library Tour to the Brawijaya University Library and Malik Ibrahim University Malang ( UIN ). Regional Deliberation Event ( MUSDA ) This year is a period of management responsibility 2016 – 2019 and the formation of a new manager of the year 2019 – 2022 for the continuation of the FPPTI organization.
The seminar series began with an opening from Drs. Muh. Sharif Bando, M.M as Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia with the theme "Paradigm Shift for Libraries in Society 5.0". The second resource person is Prof. Dr. Syamsul Arifin, M.Si Deputy Chancellor I UMM at the seminar took the theme "Promotion of Digital Based Library Services", while "Library Tricks and Practices Welcoming Society 5.0" is the theme of the third resource person, namely Ida Fajar Priyanto, M.A., Ph.D. Gadjah Mada University.
The workshop activities began with material presented by Mrs. Rikarda Ratih from Soegijapranata University, Semarang as resource person I with the title "Android-based library using Android using AR (Augmented Reality)” . The second resource person is Felicia Gunawan, SE., M.Si from UK PETRA Surabaya with the theme "Negotiation for Librarians". The series of MUSDA events which took place in the Meeting Room of the Kapal Garden Sengkaling Hotel were closed by Dr. Asep Nurjaman, MSi as Head of the UMM Library.
