UIN Librarian Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung (UIN ONE) Following the National Seminar and Workshop "Smart Library for Digital Literacy" as well as the inauguration of the East Java Apptis Management 2023-2027 as well as the East Java Apptis Working Meeting of the year 2024 on 23-24 February 2024 which is located in the Smart Room of the UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya library (UINSA). The event that lasted for 2 (two) This day carries the theme "Uniting Perceptions in Optimizing the Functions of Professional Organizations as a Form of Competency Improvement". Representatives from UIN SATU who also attended the event consisted of: 4 (four) The person is Mr. Fikriansyah Wicaksono, Mr. Samsul Huda, Mrs. Erma Awalien Rochmah, and Laila's mother Rifa'atul Azizah.
The event began at 08.00 WIB begins with singing the song Indonesia Raya, mars UINSA, as well as APPTIS mars. After that, it continued with the first welcoming ceremony, delivered by the Head of the UINSA Library, Mrs. Evi Fatimatur Rusydiyah. Then continued with remarks from the Vice Chancellor 1 Mr. Muzakki's Academic and Institutional Development Sector. Next we entered the main event, namely the Inauguration of the APPTIS East Java Management Period 2023 – 2027. The procession begins with calling all the inauguration participants to the front to line up and occupy the positions provided. After that, the chairman of the Central APPTIS, Mrs. Labibah Zain, read the inauguration oath. Total available 54 people who are members of the APPTIS East Java Period management 2023-2027.
The first resource person is Prof. Dr. Parmin, M.Pd who is the Vice Chancellor 1 Semarang State University. He explained material regarding "Strategies for Preparing and Publicating Scientific Work". He gave tips on how to write a good and interesting scientific work so that the article can be published and published by the publisher or in this case OJS (Online Journal System). After ± 2 hours of material in progress, ended with a question and answer session.
After Ishoma, the event continued with the material "Professional Organizations as a Container for Improving Competency and Achievement of Librarians" with resource person Dr.. Labibah Zain, MLIS. He shared things related to increasing competence, capacity, and the capability of librarians to make contributions to the agencies and organizations where they work. He hopes that his experience so far in developing libraries can inspire all participants to take action and develop competencies in their respective work units. After that the event continued with the final speaker, namely Mr. Mufid, S.Ag, S.S, M.Hum who is the Head of the UIN Malang Library. He delivered material on "Increasing Librarian Innovation through APPTIS East Java from Time to Time" as well as providing tips and strategies in increasing innovation for APPTIS East Java librarians.
O'clock 16.30 WIB continued with work meeting agendas by each division (East Java APPTIS Activity Planning Commission Session Period 2023 – 2027). Each coordinator and their members discuss the activities that will be carried out during the period. During ± 1 each division is given the opportunity to coordinate. After that Ishoma arrived at the o'clock 18.30 WIB and the event continued with the agenda of the Plenary Session of the Commission for Determining Planning for APPTIS East Java Activities for the Period 2023 – 2027 until o'clock 20.30 WIB.
Agenda for the second day on the date 24 February 2024 namely Ratification of the Results of the APPTIS East Java Period Working Meeting 2023 – 2027 as well as signing work programs for all divisional fields. The results of the East Java APPTIS working meeting were determined as many as 25 (twenty five) program of activities to be implemented during the period.
