Plagiarism Sanctions
According to Law No. 20 Year 2003 about National Education System art 25 verse 2 and article 70 regulates sanctions plagiarism, especially in the academic environment. Sanctions contained in the Law that is:
(Chapter 25) verse 2: Graduate universities whose scientific work is used to obtain a degree academic, profession, or if the vocation is proven to be plagiarized, the title will be revoked.
(Chapter 70): Graduate whose scientific work he used to obtain an academic degree, profession, or vocation as intended in Article 25 Verse (2) proven to be Plagiarism is punishable by a maximum imprisonment of two years and/or a fine maximum Rp 200.000.000,00 (two hundred million rupiah).
Minister of Education Regulation National No 17 Year 2010 about preventing and dealing with plagiarism in Higher Education in chapter VI article 12 verse 1 mention sanctions for students those who were proven to have committed plagiarism from the lightest to the highest the heaviest, that is :
1. Reprimand
2. Written warning
3. Delay in giving some student rights
4. Cancellation of value
5. Dismissal with respect for your status as a student
6. Dismissal is not with respect for your status as a student
7. Cancellation of the degree after graduating from the education process.
