Activities that can be done during the StayAtHome period

Currently we know that the world is being hit by an outbreak or pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus (Crown). This virus originally came from a city in China, namely the city of Wuhan. The symptom of this disease is fever, convulsions, coughing and attacking the respiratory tract

WHO says how the corona virus spreads through small droplets that come out of the nose or mouth when those infected with the virus sneeze or cough. The droplets then land on touched objects or surfaces and healthy people. Then this healthy person touches the eyes, their nose or mouth. The corona virus can also spread when small droplets are inhaled by healthy people when they are close to someone infected with the corona virus. The spread of this virus includes China – Europe – Asia – America and eventually spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. One of the steps implemented by the Indonesian government is implementing the Stay At Home or Study policy, Work and Worship from home. This is also implemented at IAIN Tulungagung.

With this policy, the IAIN Tulungagung learning system is carried out online. Starting from lectures, UTS, UAS to Final Assignments are also carried out online. This indirectly impacts on having more free time. Therefore, the IAIN Tulungagung Library wants to share information about what you can do to fill your free time.

Positive activities that can be done to fill free time during the stay at home period include:

Apart from having to protect our bodies from being exposed to viruses, We also have to keep our bodies healthy by exercising regularly, meditation, eat healthy and regular food and get enough rest.
Communicate with people you trust about your thoughts or feelings. This can minimize stress due to being at home for too long
Set aside time to do things you like, such as reading, cooking, listening to music, or whatever as long as it is positive
Too much information can make us afraid and can reduce the body's immunity. Try to take a break from news that might trigger fear and stress

During activities at home, we are also advised to make efforts to prevent infection with the COVID-19 virus 19. These efforts include :
1. wear a mask
2. Bring hand sanitizer if you have to do activities outside the home
3. diligently wash hands with soap
4. reduce touching the facial area
5. Cover your mouth when coughing using the inside of your elbow
6. taking vitamins
7. eat healthy food
8. keep a distance of at least 1.5m from other people (Social Distancing)

This is information related to Covid 19, activities that can be done, as well as efforts to prevent us from being infected with the virus. Hope it is useful.
